8 Years Ago Today...

It was 8 years ago today that the United States was attacked in New York, Washington, D.C. and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania by Islamic terrorists.

Today, we should take at least a moment to remember and reflect.

Unfortunately, the Obama Admininstration does not take this anniversary very seriously, delaring 9/11/09 as National Service and Rememberance Day. They are fearful that this is a "Republican observance" or some similar sort of claptrap.

We remember September 11, 2001 as the day the United States finally got serious about fighting international terrorism.

Let's hope that the Obama Administration does not weaken our defenses to the point where we're attacked again.

A big, hearty thank-you to our armed forces!
