Paul Burke Dies

Actor Paul Burke died at his home in Palm Springs, California.

Burke had a 40-year acting career which on television shows like "Naked City," "12 O'Clock High" and "Dynasty." He also appeared in "Adventures of Superman" ("The Phantom Ring," "Superman Week" and "My Friend Superman"). He was 83.

Burke died today with his wife Lyn at his side from complications of leukemia and non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

He was also nominated two times for an Emmy Award for his role in the crime drama "Naked City" as Detective Adam Flint. He also appeared in motion pictures including "Valley of the Dolls" and "The Thomas Crown Affair."

Along with his wife, Lyn, Burke is survived by his three children from his first marriage, Paula Burke-Lopez, Paul Brian Burke and Dina Burke-Shawkat.
