Find Marizela Perez

One of my favorite political commentators is Michelle Malkin.

On March 5, 2011, her cousin Marizela Perez disappeared. She was last seen in a Safeway supermarket near Seattle's University of Washington.

According to Malkin:

She is a University of Washington undergrad and she has been missing since Saturday afternoon, when she left the Rainier Beach neighborhood headed to the UW Seattle campus. Her parents have been trying to reach her all weekend; she apparently never made it to campus and has not been heard from by phone/Internet. They’ve filed a missing persons report with the Seattle Police Department. Hospitals have been alerted, according to family members, and bus and train routes have been checked. No sign.

KIRO-TV reported:

Marizela Perez was last seen on March 5, in surveillance video at a Safeway in the University District.

Perez was carrying her laptop when she disappeared.

Perez’ father, Edgar Perez, said that on March 9, family members noticed that his daughter’s AOL instant messaging icon was active, indicating that someone was logged into her account, the Seattle Times reported.

A website has been set up in the efforts to find Marizela. To view it, go here.
