As regular Rancho readers know, my favorite Tokyo hotel is the Hotel Asia Center of Japan. Their room rates are reasonable. They have a good restaurant with 2 breakfast buffet choices: western or Japanese. (Sometimes I combine the two.) And, they are centrally located in Tokyo.
If a lodger is lucky, he/she will get a room that is on the upper floors and faces towards Tokyo Tower. I've been so lucky on a couple of occasions. I took the photo below of Tokyo Tower from my room's window.
