Tokyo Sky Tree, now nearing completion as "the world’s tallest self-standing tower," will be opened to visitors on May 22, 2012, according to the Tobu Tower Sky Tree Company.

There will be two observation decks for visitors to view Tokyo from:

1.) 350 meter observation deck at 2,000 yen.

2.) 450 meter observation deck for an additional 1,000 yen.

The decks will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Tokyo Sky Tree is scheduled to be completed in February and is located in the Sumida Ward of Tokyo. It will stand 634-meters when completed. It will be replacing Tokyo Tower as Tokyo's primary broadcast tower.
