As I was scrolling down the pages of pictures, I noticed that the man never seems to smile. There's lots of pictures of Brown, young and old, and he always seems to have the expression like he smells something bad.
Finally, I came to a photo of a smiling Jerry Brown. Oddly, it is a picture of Brown with Jim Jones of Jonestown, Guyana and Kool Aid fame from the 1970s:
