The Quentin character was introduced in 1969 as a vengeful ghost.  This prompts Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) go back to the year 1897 to solve the mystery of Quentin Collins and a werewolf curse.

At the time, Selby in 1897 garb looked strikingly like a young Abraham Lincoln.  Now 40+ years later, Selby has been getting rave reviews appearing as Lincoln in various stage productions (he even appeared as Lincoln at Ford's Theater, where Lincoln was shot).
