Nagasaki To Commemorate 68th A-Bombing Anniversary

The focus shifts to Nagasaki tomorrow for the 68th anniversary of the a-bomb attack in that city.

News On Japan reports:
The western Japanese city of Nagasaki marks the 68th anniversary of the 1945 atomic bomb attack by the US on Friday. It comes 3 days after Hiroshima mourned its A-bomb victims. 
The mayor plans to urge the Japanese government to play a more active role in ridding the world of nuclear arms. 
A memorial ceremony will begin at the peace park near Ground Zero in the city at 10:35 AM.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will join survivors of the attack and bereaved families.
