Diamonds Are Not Forever At Wako Ginza

Two men managed to heist an expensive diamond ring from the jewelry counter at the Wako Department Store in Ginza on Christmas Eve. The ring's diamond weighed 4.26 carats.

According to Japan Today:
The two men asked the salesperson to show them four rings in the showcase and asked her to bring them some information on prices. Then they asked asked the employee to come downstairs and help them get some money from the bank but she declined. After that, the two men left. When the employee went to put the rings on the tray back in the showcase, she noticed one ring worth 35 million yen missing.
