Tokyo Station - Irresistible Sweets Paradise

Each time I've been in Japan, for one reason or another I seem to manage to end up inside Tokyo Station. Usually, it is to catch a bullet train or a JR Yamanote Line train to go somewhere (or coming back from somewhere).

That's okay, because Tokyo Station has probably one of the best selections of sweets that can be found in Japan.

During my last two trips to Japan, I made it a point to pick up a box of Tokyo Banana cakes to take home at Tokyo Station.

But, according to an article in eTurboNews, there are other goodies at Tokyo Station to please that sweet tooth.

They begin with:
Tokyo Station in Tokyo Japan, boasts innumerable dessert shops including but not limited to "ecute Tokyo", "Central Street" and "Keiyo Street" on the first floor, and "GRANSTA" shopping arcade on the B1 level. Customers can eat in the stores or take away the delicacies in exquisite packages. Besides traditional Japanese pastries, there are also Macaroons, fruit tarts, Swiss rolls, and other Western desserts. Surrounded by the offices of various major global financial companies, Tokyo Station is no doubt an irresistible sweets paradise for office workers from the area who are at the cutting edge of Japanese fashion.
