Ginza Mitsukoshi Introduces Yukata For Foreigners

Are you currently (or in the near future) in Tokyo and want to bring back something for the woman (or girl) in your life?

The Ginza Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo may just have the thing for you!

According to the Mainichi Shimbun:
The Ginza Mitsukoshi department store in Tokyo began sales on June 3 of simple women's "yukata" -- summer-style kimono -- tailored for foreigners. 
Yukata are popular with foreigners as a way to enjoy Japanese culture, and sales to foreigners are on the rise, the store says. Its new yukata can be easily worn like a gown, and are designed to foreigners' preferences. The length is shorter than usual, and the yukata cloth needn't be folded under the waist sash as in a normal yukata. The waist sash has also been made easy to tie, and overall the yukata can be worn and enjoyed without especially requiring knowledge of how to wear them.
