Yellowstone Bear World

One of the things we did during our Yellowstone Vacation was a stop at the Yellowstone Bear World in Rexburg, Idaho.

Yellowstone Bear World seeks to recreate the Yellowstone National Park experience before the National Park Service disallowed the feeding of bears and other wildlife.

Yellowstone Bear World is a drive-through wildlife park where visitors can view bears and other animals in the comfort of their own vehicles (with the windows closed, of course).

The visit begins with a stop at the main gate where visitors pay their admission fees to a "ranger" and then drive through. The park features grizzly and black bears, wolves, bison, deer, moose, elk and other animals.

After the drive-through visitors can enjoy the large gift shop, the petting zoo, bear cub feeding, kiddie rides and other attractions.

Adult admission into Yellowstone Bear World is $16.95.
