Campland On The Bay Review Posted

While everything was fresh in mind, I posted my review of Campland On The Bay at RV Park Reviews.

My review:
I have heard about Campland On The Bay for over 20 years and this was our first visit. We only stayed one night. It is in a beautiful location on Mission Bay in San Diego. From what I saw of the campsites, I was a little disappointed. It amounted to very little more than an asphalt parking lot with hook-ups and some surrounding trees and grassy areas. For the price, I would have expected a whole lot more. But, that said, people go there to enjoy the waters of Mission Bay instead of sitting idly at camp.

The only comparable campground/RV park (as far as the overall look and sites) was Circus Circus RV park. But, one thing in Circus Circus's RV Park had that Campland On The Bay didn't: space. There was more space between campsites at Circus Circus. If we had gone to Campland On The Bay during their busy season (summer), people would have been packed in like sardines. But, we had the section we were assigned pretty much all to ourselves.

At least we were able to empty our holding tanks and fill up the fresh water tank.
