Pearl Harbor and Arizona Memorial

Today was spent visiting Pearl Harbor with Discover Hawaii Tours. Along with the Pearl Harbor visit, we were treated to a tour of the city of Honolulu including Veterans Cemetery, where Challenger astronaut Ellison Onizuka is buried.

We were picked up at our hotel, the Sheraton Waikiki at about 8:45 and were driven to Pearl Harbor.

Along the way, we passed several notable places, including the Hawaii state capitol building.

If anyone is interested in learning about the December 7, 1941 attack by the Imperial Japanese, a visit to Pearl Harbor is a must.
