A Dodger Birthday

Yesterday was spent at my cousin Maria's home in Wildomar, California (near Lake Elsinore) to celebrate my aunt Gloria's 87th birthday.

She had a great time as she was loaded down with lots of Los Angeles Dodgers merchandise including caps, cups, vacuum bottle, pins, towel and other paraphernalia. She is a big fan of the Dodgers.

I gave her a World Series edition Dodger cap and a pullover blouse.

Rather than drive home after the party, I stayed there overnight in The Beast. It worked out great as Maria's husband Fred installed a 30 amp power outlet so The Beast had the power to run the DVD player and television along with my electric coffee-maker (most important).

Maria and Fred's home almost exactly 100 miles from my Tarzana apartment. The traffic wasn't bad except for some slowing near Corona (which is usual).

It was nice to see many family members attend.
