Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo Indian Dancing

Tonight, I took my friend Mitch into Gallup for the nightly Indian dancing at the County Courthouse square.

Tonight's performers were the Serpent Trail Dancers from the Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo.

We had a good time and Mitch was brought up by an Indian lady who sat next to us to join in on the round dance towards the end of tonight's program. Audience members either volunteered to join in or one of the dance troupe would bring them up.

Naturally, I had my camera handy (with zoom lens this time) to record the festivities.
