Ontario International Airport

Above, Terminal 4 at Ontario International Airport. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

When I went to spend Christmas at my cousin's in Wildomar, California, I elected to fly there rather than driving.

I did have to do some driving. My flights originated at the Albuquerque International Sunport. From there, I flew to Phoenix, Arizona to catch my flight to California. Fortunately, the airport in Albuquerque has RV parking available.

Since Ontario International Airport is the closest airport to my cousins, I flew there from Phoenix.

Ontario International Airport is a small airport much like Albuquerque's. This made it easy for me to navigate around. My flight ended at Terminal 4. After landing in Ontario, a shuttle bus to me to the car rental facility where all the rental car companies are located.

After getting the rental car (a Hyundai Elantra), I then headed to my cousin's.

This was my first time using Ontario International Airport and I will likely fly there again. It is a lot more convenient to use than Los Angeles International Airport. My only criticism about Ontario is that Terminal 4 could use more eateries to choose from.
