It Was Loud

Above, a view out a kitchen window. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

It was loud last night.

No, we didn't get any thunderstorms (at least if we did, I slept through them), but when I went to bed at 10:00 last night, the rain was pouring and the noise was a bit loud.

The good thing is that the plants outside are getting plenty of water, so I don't have to go out and water them. This makes it easier on my wallet.

It is lightly raining now.

Today's forecast according to the National Weather Service:

Today
Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. High near 50. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Saturday
Scattered showers, then showers and thunderstorms likely after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 57. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
