Rainy Day

Above, the sky is already clouded up. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

After I had gotten dressed this morning, I opened the front door and P.K. was right there to tell me that their food bowl was empty. And tell me she did!

Today is going to be a rainy day, which may or may not include thunder & lightning (I hope it does). It is already sprinkling outside.

To make sure the barrel heater doesn't get wet under the deck, I went into the garage and grabbed a tarp to put on the deck to keep water from dripping onto the heater.

Above, P.K. breakfasting with the tarp in the background. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

After that was done, I tended to the food container and filled it. P.K. and all of her kittens proceeded to devour breakfast.

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58. South wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
