I drove down to Roseau, MN, to drop off some G-FAN mail on Thursday. Filled up at $2.89 per gallon. The price in Canada where I live is $1.34 per liter, which converts to $5.07 per US gallon. At current exchange rate that comes to $3.65 US per gallon. So filling up in the US saved me almost $8.50 US or $11.60 Canadian, which more than paid the cost of the trip. I'd love to be paying US (MN or ND) prices at home. Maybe if Canada becomes the 51st state...
