GOP Takes Virginia Governors' Office

In what can only be described as a rebuke to the Obama Administration and the Democrat Party, the Virginia voters have elected Robert McDonnell the governor of their state.

In New Jersey, Chris Christie is now leading Governor Jon Corzine by ten percentage points. If the trends continue, it may be an upset victory for the GOP in New Jersey.

Thus far, no returns have been reported in New York's 23rd congressional district. There, Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman is facing Democrat Bill Owens. RINO candidate Dede Scozzafava dropped out of the race over the weekend and endorsed Owens.

This will be a very interesting election night, one that should not give Obama or the Democrats any comfort!

UPDATE: Republican Chris Christie has beaten New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine by 5% according to the Associated Press.
