Dollar At 99 Yen Following Golden Week In Japan



Following the Golden Week holidays in Japan, the first trading day has the U.S. dollar up against the Japanese yen in Tokyo.

According to Jiji Press:
Tokyo, May 7 (Jiji Press)--The dollar moved around 99 yen in Tokyo trading on Tuesday, following a sharp rise overseas during the four-day weekend in Japan, lifted by unexpectedly strong U.S. jobs data.
At the end of the trading day, the dollar stood at 99.06-14 yen.

Will the dollar reach 100 yen this week?
