It's Gettin' Kinda Smokey Here

Above, the NOAA satellite image of the Springs Fire.

The Springs Fire in Ventura County (and creeping towards Malibu) and another fire in Glendale has bequeathed the San Fernando Valley with a big cloud of smoke.

I just stepped out several minutes ago and was greeted by eye-burning smoke.   Seems like November already.

The Springs Fire has grown to 28 square miles.  The Glendale fire is near the 134 and 2 freeways.
