A Nighttime Visitor

Above, my visitor was like the one on the right.

Last night was rather interesting.

I was at the desk at work doing some writing.  I happened to look down on the floor to my left and found that I had a visitor.

It was a skunk who decided to walk in through the open door.  He (or she) was about two feet away just sniffing around.

I bolted from my chair and headed in one direction. The skunk headed in the opposite direction and went out the door. I like skunks, but I prefer to watch them from a distance.

Thank goodness he (or she) did not "open fire."
