Non-Japanese Using Narita Airport Up 18.8%

Another good indicator at how well the Japanese tourism industry has rebounded are the latest figures of foreign nationals flying in and out of Narita International Airport.

News On Japan reported:
The number of non-Japanese flying in or out of Narita International Airport during the summer holiday season between July 12 and Sunday jumped 18.8 pct from a year before to some 1,394,250, immigration data showed Thursday. 
They credit the weaker yen and the naming of Mount Fuji as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for the upsurge.
