The Yo-Yo In Airfares Continues

The way things are going with airfares between Los Angeles and Tokyo of late, it looks like I may have to do these airfare check blog posts on a weekly, instead of a monthly, basis.

Again, airfares are acting like yo-yos.

Last week, the prices the Los Angeles Times Travel section found for L.A. to Tokyo were $1,101.00 on the low end to $1,691.00 on the high end. And, these are before taxes and fees are added in.

Yesterday, the Los Angeles Times Travel section reported a rise in prices. They reported that the low end prices for L.A. to Tokyo to be $1,304.00 and $1,791.00 on the high end before taxes and fees.

In previous travel seasons, airfares were relatively stable, without any wild swings. Not so this season.
