Dollar Rises To 7-Month High In Tokyo

The U.S. dollar reached a 7-month high in Tokyo trading today.

According to Jiji Press:

The dollar zoomed to a seven-month high above 104.50 yen in Tokyo trading Tuesday, powered by speculative purchases that increased after a sharp rise in Japanese stock prices.

At 5 p.m., the dollar stood at 104.83-83 yen.
