If I didn't know better, I'd swear that Curt Swan included Jim Nolt (the one getting jack-hammered on the noggin) in this Superman cover from 1961:

Speaking of Curt Swan, today would have been his 95th birthday. He was born on February 17, 1920 in Willmar, Minnesota.
