New Toho Godzilla To Be Biggest Ever

The announcement Toho's creative team of Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi for their soon-to-be-produced Godzilla movie set Godzilla fandom abuzz.

The Japan Times now has an article on the team as well. Plus, they have included some interesting tidbits.

They wrote:

Toho have confirmed [nice bit of "Engrish" here] the newest version of its 61-year-old radioactive monster will outsize all previous versions — including the 108-meter-tall version featured in the recent Hollywood production of the series directed by Gareth Edwards.

The new Godzilla flick begins production this autumn and its release is scheduled for 2016.
