Media Outlets Now Jumping On Godzilla Residency Story

It has been four days since I posted this blog about Godzilla being named an "official resident" of the Shinjuku Ward of Tokyo. It has been even longer since I posted about Godzilla being named as "tourism goodwill ambassador" for Shinjuku (and Japan in general).

Now, the media is jumping on the bandwagon which, to kaiju fans, is now old news. I have received several news alerts from different media outlets on the "official resident" story this morning.

Time magazine is one of the latest to post about it. Thankfully, they are crediting Facebook and RocketNews 24 as sources of the story.

Other outlets that sent me alerts include the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Radio Times, International Business Times, Newsweek, People Magazine, BBC News, The Mary Sue and Economic Times.

I guess it's better late to the party than never.
