The U.S. dollar is firmer in the 120-yen range in Tokyo trading.
The dollar dropped in foreign exchange in recent weeks when the world's stock markets plunged due to uncertainty of China's economy.
Currently, the dollar stands at 120.67-120.68 yen in Tokyo trading.
