October's Airfare Check

We're in a new month, Halloween Month, and it's time to check on where airfares from Los Angeles to Tokyo are at.

Yesterday's Los Angeles Times Travel section found airfares ranged from $721.00 on the low end to $967.00 on the high end. These are before any taxes or fees are added in.

Next, I checked with my favorite source for airline tickets (October 17 and 25), GatewayLAX,  and here's what they came up with for non-stop round-trip tickets to Tokyo from Los Angeles:

This price, of course, is before any fees and taxes are added. This was the lowest price for a non-stop round-trip to Japan.

Unless there is a big change, up or down, in ticket prices between now and November, the next ticket check will be in November.
