Lake Tarzana

Today started off with a boom. Well, actually, many booms.

A big storm rolled into the L.A. area this morning and with it were thunder and lightning. One thunderclap was directly overhead of my apartment building and it shook the building and set of several car alarms.

Besides that, heavy rains came down, turning our parking lot into "Lake Tarzana" (photo above).

We are in a lull right now, and I took advantage of it to make a quick trip to the bank.

This storm ought to put a good-sized dent into California's drought.
