Grand Teton Road Opens Today

Signaling that the summer vacation season is just around the corner, the main road in Grand Teton National Park opened today.

Jackson Hole News & Guide reported:

Teton Park Road opens to vehicles today, connecting the south and north ends of Grand Teton National Park via the interior road. 

The road was closed between Taggart Lake Trailhead and Signal Mountain Lodge for the winter, and then opened only to cyclists and pedestrians for the past month. The opening to motor vehicles starts the summer season.
