Making Coffee While Camping

No day is complete or off to a good start unless I have my morning cup of coffee. This includes days while camping.

Do It Yourself RV has an article on 7 ways to making coffee while camping. Most are geared for those times while dry camping and there's no power to operate an electric drip coffeemaker. If in an RV with a generator, that problem is solved. But there are times when generators aren't permitted in some national and state park campgrounds as you'd wake the neighbors. What to do then?

Naturally, since I have a propane stove, I bought a Stanley percolator for brewing coffee without the need for a generator. This is one of the seven ways (number 2 on the list) to make coffee while camping.

They begin their article with:
You can’t always plug in the coffee pot or stop by a Starbucks.  If you’re out camping or RVing you may find yourself without power and miles from the nearest cafe.
Luckily, if you just can’t wake up without a warm cup of joe, there are still multiple other ways to get your caffeine fix.

To see what the other six ways are, go here
