Getting Colder Here

Above, after a snowstorm last February. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Well, that was quick!

Autumn temperatures have taken hold.

I just took a gander at the temperatures for the Jamestown, New Mexico area and found that the temperature now is 35° outside. It looks like that I will have to plug in The Beast so that the holding tank heaters will keep the tanks from freezing up.

Thankfully, once I store The Beast in the GOCO Beast Barn, I have 30 amp extension cords that will reach it to do the same.

It is interesting living in a place where there are actual four seasons, unlike Los Angeles. The summer was pretty mild, compared to what I am used to. The temperatures averaged around 80° with occasional 90° temperatures with the hottest period being around late June to mid-July.

I was told that the snows around here generally start during the start of the new year. We'll see.
