Oh, Deer!

We managed to see some deer during the trip up to Jackson, Wyoming.

These were from Grand Teton National Park.

The first is a herd of elk (a species of deer) gathered into a protective circle. Their young are in the center. Whenever a predator (in this case, a bear was seen) is in their vicinity, they gather into a circle.
