MAGA Rally Tomorrow: Things To Know



President Trump's MAGA Rally will be taking place tomorrow in Rio Rancho. The Republican Party of New Mexico sent out an email to ticket-holders (I'm one of them) on what to expect and dos and don'ts.

Here is what you need to know about President Trump's rally on Monday, Sept. 16, at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho:

Event Information:  
  • Santa Ana Star Center address: 3001 Civic Center Circle, Rio Rancho, NM 87144
  • Doors open at 4:00 p.m., the rally will begin at 7:00 p.m.
  • Seating will be on a first come first serve basis and there will be no reserved seating.
  • As a reminder, having a ticket does not guarantee admittance.
  • We encourage attendees to get there as early as possible on Monday.
  • There will be limited access to shade and seating so plan accordingly while waiting.
  • Food and drinks will be permitted outside and inside the facilities. 
  • Outside items such as coolers and chairs while sitting outside, will NOT be allowed inside for the rally.
Travel and Parking:
  • We are expecting significant traffic delays.
  • Buses will not be provided.
  • There will be a $10 parking fee per vehicle, cash only.
  • Parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to car pool.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted at the City Center.
  • Parking at the City Center will open at 6:00 a.m on Monday.
  • No campers, RVs or trailers will be permitted, passenger vehicles only. 
  • Towing will be enforced along roadways. 
Amenities:
  • Concessions will be open inside the Star Center.
  • Jumbo screens and other overflow accommodations are available. 
  • Portable restrooms will be available.
  • There is a designated peaceful assembly area.
  • There will be an ADA entrance, however there may be wait time required and these seats are first come first serve. 
Prohibited Items:
  • Aerosols, ammunition, animals other than service/guide animals, backpacks and bags exceeding the size restrictions (18" x 13" x 7"), balloons, bicycles, coolers, drones and other unmanned aircraft systems, explosives, firearms, glass, thermals or metal containers, laser pointers, mace/pepper spray, packages, selfie sticks, signs exceeding the size restrictions (20" x 3" x 1/4") made of anything except cardboard, poster-board or cloth, structures, supports for signs and place cards, toy guns, weapons of any kind and any other items determined to be a potential safety hazard.
