Another Road

This afternoon, I decided to take a little (about an hour) Jeep ride over to Six Mile Canyon. Only this time I didn't go into the canyon.

At the Cibola National Forest Six Mile Canyon gate is a road next to the old cattle corral. I have never ventured onto this road, so I headed over to it to see where it goes.

It is actually a utility access road that follows along the power lines. I followed along for almost a half mile when I noticed a gully/arroyo up ahead. Not certain how accessible it is, I decided to turn around. The Jeep would likely make it through on 4-wheel-drive, but I felt that it was best to err on the side of caution.

I also drove by the shooting area. It didn't look as messy as it did on few occasions. I've been told that the shooting area is actually on national forest land.

Since I plan to have sushi tonight in Gallup, I headed back home to get ready to go out.
