Barking Spider Acre: Then & Now

It looks like we're going to have sunny, but cooler, days in the days ahead. Today's high is forecast to just hit 40°.

In looking at Barking Spider Acre covered with snow yesterday morning, it looks far better since I started mowing it last summer. It hadn't been cut in years, most likely. Thankfully, friends Bo and Nandoh cut it and after that, I bought a Big Boy riding mower to keep it under control. I have always detested yard work, but having the mower and a string cutter (among other tools), I am now having fun doing it.

In looking at my photos of yesterday and a year ago, it is interesting to see the contrast between a cut yard and an overgrown yard with snow.

Here's two photos of Barking Spider Acre with similar views, but a year apart.
