Tonight's Moonrise

There's one thing about living out in a rural area, it's pitch-dark at night except for a few lights from homes. That allows better dark sky gazing as more stars are visible and brighter moon viewing. In other words, no light pollution.

I had to take some trash out to the trash container outside and saw a beautiful moonrise. I stopped and snapped the photo below with my phone. If I went back inside to get a camera, the moon would've been a little higher and not as beautiful (in my opinion).
