Watering The Cats

Right now, The Weather Channel app on my phone says it is 28° outside, but my outdoor thermometer indicates 30°.

I have to go down to the Flying J to pick up a couple of gallon jugs of drinking water for the coffeemaker. The hard water here clogs coffeemakers with mineral deposits. I use bottled water for it. I'll probably take the Jeep to the Flying J. Oddly enough, when it sits in the sun long enough, even in cold weather, the black vinyl top on it absorbs the heat and radiates it inside.

P.K. and her kittens needed some fresh water. So I took their water bottle in and cleaned it out. It had ice in it as well. While I was at it, I cleaned and changed the filter to Sierra's water pagoda. So all of the kitties are taken care of.

There's still a lot of snow from Friday's storm and we're expected to get rain around Wednesday, which will probably melt the snow remnants.
