Snow Showers Coming In

Earlier this evening, I checked the weather on my The Weather Channel app. It indicated possible snow starting tomorrow afternoon around 4:00.

Then, a little while ago, I saw a weather report on a local news station that indicated a winter storm is coming into Grants, New Mexico tonight (Grants is around 45 miles east of Jamestown).

Then I checked the National Weather Service and this is what they forecast:

Tonight
Cloudy, with a low around 27. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday
Snow showers likely before 11am, then rain showers. High near 44. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night
Rain and snow showers likely before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday
A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 18. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
