Good Driving Day

After this morning's coffee/breakfast gathering at Denny's in the Flying J, I headed off to Gallup to do some needed grocery shopping.

I went to two stores, Lowe's (not the hardware store) and Albertson's to pick up what I needed. After that, I headed on home.

Today was almost as nice as last Saturday (about 54°), so I got the Jeep out for a drive. First, I headed down to the Flying J to fill up the gas tank. With my Good Sam Club discount, the gasoline was $2.189/gallon. The lowest I saw in Gallup earlier was $2.179/gallon.

I did some rough road driving up in the southern part of the community as well as up top in Mesa Ridge Ranch. I finished off the day with carrot-feeding of Christmas. The gelding wasn't in his pen. I am wondering of he got out again or the neighbor sold him or something. It seemed strange not seeing him in his pen. I hope he's okay.

The next few days will be progressively warmer. It is forecast to be about 56° tomorrow. More good driving weather.
