Dinner At The El Rancho Hotel

Above, at the El Rancho Hotel restaurant in Gallup.

This evening, Larry Lucier and I headed out to Gallup to have dinner at the El Rancho Hotel. Larry wanted to treat me to dinner as a "thank you" for helping him with different things.

The El Rancho Hotel didn't have outdoor dining, so we ate inside the hotel restaurant. Since it has been a while since I last chile rellenos, that's what I decided to have (along with a house margarita).

On the way back to his house, we spotted a male mule deer near Whispering Cedars Road, about a block away from my house and near Meeko the llama's pen. We stopped to get a few pictures, but it was too dark out and he was too far away for flash to be effective.

It was an enjoyable evening.
