For those of you who are Ultraman fans, there's some good news.

A new pop-up cafe at the Tokyo Skytree has opened.

According to the Mainichi Shimbun:

TOKYO -- To commemorate the 55th anniversary of the "Ultraman" TV series, a pop-up cafe opened on July 16 in the Tokyo Solamachi retail complex at the foot of Tokyo Skytree.

"Ultraman Cafe: Go Beyond 55th Anniversary," located in the capital's Sumida Ward, is designed to give customers a sense they are in the popular TV series' world. It will trade on the complex's first floor until Aug. 29.

The menu is themed on series characters including from the original "Ultraman" (1966), "Ultraman Tiga" (1996), the latest "Ultraman Trigger" (2021), and popular monsters including Alien Baltan and Dada.

Unfortunately, there's some bad news.

None of us can go there to see it and dine as Japan has extreme restrictions for entering the country for tourists. Persons from Canada and the U.S. are denied permission to enter the country.
