Chance of Precipitation 80%

Since we've been getting a lot of rain from this year's monsoon season, the growth of weeds and all has accelerated.

For the second time in two weeks, I got the mower out and did some mowing in front of the house and Barking Spider Acre.

It appears I did so just in time as we're expected to get some heavy rain today (an 80% chance according to the National Weather Service).

Here's today's forecast:

Today
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 76. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
