It's Cold!

Above, two residents of Jamestown. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

Right now, according to my yard thermometer, it is about 39° outside. I fired up the heater inside the house for the first time since around May.

We're in a cold snap from a frontal passage that's supposed to last for a day or so. After this, the temperatures are expected to return as they were.

According to the National Weather Service:

Today
Sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
Tonight
Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast after midnight.
Wednesday
Sunny, with a high near 78. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night
Clear, with a low around 47. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
