Just A Few Drops

Above, the Jeep just before moving it into the garage. Photo by Armand Vaquer.

As I put the Jeep into the garage this evening, some raindrops were on its windshield. That was roughly the extent of the "thunderstorms" that were to arrive in the area.

There were plenty of clouds, but no rain, as the above photo shows.

According to reports, this was part of a monsoonal weather pattern. It was likely not humid enough for any real rain (unless some comes overnight).

According to a weather app on my phone, the nearest occurrence of lightning was ten miles away.

The National Weather Service forecast the next possibility of rain and thunderstorms will come on Friday and Saturday.

Friday
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 87.
Friday Night
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.
Saturday
A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 85.
