The stuff that now passes as "music", particularly rock 'n roll, leaves me cold. So, to start off the week, here's a video of a classic rock artist.
Today, we have a band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1965, The Turtles. The best known line-up includes Howard Kaylan, Mark Volman, Al Nichol, Chuck Portz, Jim Tucker and Don Murray. Kaylan and Volman continued on as Flo and Eddie after The Turtles disbanded. I saw Flo and Eddie live at The Forum back in the 1970s.
Their biggest hit, "Happy Together", was one my mom totally despised, so I won't post it here. Instead is one of their later singles, "Me About You" that was released in 1970.
